The extensive course
10 HOURS OF FRENCH PER WEEK
General French
Monday to Friday, either 9:30–11:30 am or 2:45–4:45 pm. Your time slot is confirmed after the placement test, according to your level and group composition. Long-term pathways (3 months and over) generally follow the afternoon slot.
Themed workshops (12:30–2:30 pm)
Monday to Friday, in three level groups. Each weekday focuses on one skill.
On the programme: comprehension and production, grammar in context, everyday and professional vocabulary, listening/reading strategies, pronunciation, and intonation. Authentic materials (audio, video, articles, simple administrative documents, emails) are used to anchor learning in real situations.
Weekly workshops (12:30–2:30 pm), three level groups:
- Mon — Writing & Grammar
- Tue — Conversation & Phonetics
- Wed — Everyday French (A1–A2.1) / Communication in Context (A2.2–B1.1) / DELF Preparation (B1.2–B2)
- Thu — Reading & Mediation (A1–A2.1) / Reading, Vocabulary & Reformulation (A2.2–B1.1) / French Civilisation (B1.2–B2)
- Fri — Listening Comprehension

In class, you will …

Official certificate
After you enrol and pay your tuition, you will receive an enrolment certificate. Once classes have started, a school-attendance certificate can be issued. These documents are essential for obtaining or renewing a student residence permit.

Level certificate
At the end of each term, after the final assessment (a DELF mock exam), EDAM issues your termly reports and your attendance certificate, internal school documents that track your progress. To certify your level officially, we prepare you for the DELF, TCF, DCL and DFP.
