The Intensive & Intensive Plus
16 or 20 hours/week (9:30–14:30)
Open from A1 to B2, Monday to Friday.
Morning: General French by level (A1, A2, B1, B2) following our progression programme.
In the afternoon, themed workshops strengthen specific skills:

Intensive (16 hrs/week): workshops on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

Intensive Plus (20 hrs/week): workshops Monday to Friday (aligned with many visa and in-France renewal requirements).
Weekly workshops

Monday — Writing & grammar: structuring ideas, paragraph coherence, applied conjugation and syntax.

Tuesday — Conversation & phonetics: fluency, rhythm and intonation, tricky sounds, live correction.

Wednesday — DELF preparation (A2–B2): exam methods, task types, strategies, targeted practice.

Thursday — French civilisation: cultural codes and daily life, institutions and civic markers, social integration.

Friday — Listening comprehension: intensive work with authentic audio, note-taking, and key-information spotting.
Availability: Intensive → Mon/Tue/Thu; Intensive Plus → Mon–Fri.

Who it’s for
Adults and international students who want to progress quickly (A1 → B2).
Beginners accepted (dedicated start dates).
Note: Intensive Plus (20 hrs/week) is recommended where 20 hours/week are required for visa applications or in-France student-status renewals.

Quarterly DELF mock exam
Papers designed and marked by DELF examiners; format, marking scheme and orals aligned with the official exam.
French civilisation & integration
Dedicated Thursday workshop: cultural codes, institutions and civic landmarks; day-to-day integration and communication.
Course materials included
Textbooks provided and supplementary resources; full access during the course.
Communicative approach

Official certificate
After you enrol and pay your tuition, you will receive an enrolment certificate. Once classes have started, a school-attendance certificate can be issued. These documents are essential for obtaining or renewing a student residence permit.
SERVICES & CERTIFICATES
Level certificate
At the end of each term, after the final assessment (including the DELF mock exam), EDAM issues a certificate stating your current level of French. This is an internal document that highlights your progress.
Personalized support
For students enrolled for six months or more, EDAM (via our partners) provides support with administrative procedures: visa, housing, health insurance, plus practical advice for settling in and living in Paris.
